SourceWilliam married (1) Sarah Elizabeth Oddy on 05 Apr 1812 and had two children, Sarah Elizabeth Cooze and William Joseph Cooze. He married (2) Ann Agar Hansard on 27 Apr 1819 just 7 years later, so it is likely that Ann would have raised them, although Sarah senior died much later, circa 1837 (at Twerton, Bath, Somerset, England) so it is also possible that she took the children with them when they (presumably) divorced.
