Henry’s employment in the 1851 census is given as a clerk; he evidently did not go into the family coach building business which at this time was run by his elder brother William. It is believed he died sometime before 1862 as his father named his son by Hannah Brown after him, possibly in memory. Please note Henry did not marry Sarah Kimpton as found on several Middleton family trees.
