There are 466 unique surnames and 2473 names (including 504 maiden name aliases), of which 34 have unknown surnames, for a total of 1969 different people listed here. [edit] Explanation
- Each person documented is listed here by both their maiden name and married names. When married name and maiden name differ[1], the married name entry includes the maiden name in parentheses. So Ann Haynes, née Arnold, is listed twice, once under her maiden name Arnold — Ann and under her married name Haynes — Ann (Arnold). Both entries take you to the same page.
- The numbers after each surname show inherited + married = total number of people (i.e., who either inherited or married into the name).
- There is a list of Marriages but it is sorted by first name.

- ↑ Marriage between cousins is excluded from this. E.g., Alice St.John married a St.John, so she shows up only once, as St.John — Alice (St.John).
