A nearby neighbour in Hornsey, in 1891, was a Catherine Scott, 54, ten years younger than George Anning Swain. In Sep Q, 1892, they were married in Edmonton,. Their marriage did not last long, as George died in Mar Q.1895, after which his widow retired to Seend, Wilts, near to her place of birth, where she appears, as Catherine Swain in 1901, living on her own means.
