General Labourer at Criers Farm, Five Ashes, Mayfield, Uckfield, East Sussex - where Arthur was born. Married 8 years after Arthur was born, at Holy Trinity, Woolwich ref: 1d 1673. In 1910 worked as a street hawker and lived at 8 Rope Yard Rails. Died on 19/5/1956 aged 77 of bowel cancer, in attendance was his son H.P. St John of 76 Glenmore Road, Welling, Kent. The St.Johns disowned Clarence as he married "beneath" himself! Ellen remarried ? Roper. Clarence & Henry (b. 1866) lived with Ann Barnes (b) 1821 at 7 Victoria Street, Wanstead in 1881 ages 2 & 14! Clarence & Algernon lived in Ramsgate Kent (as visitors) with The Foster Family in 1891.
